Happy Halloween!!!

Our ward trunk or treat was last night, so we all got dressed up and went over and hung out with our friends!!! I know some people don't like this holiday, but our family LOVES it!!! It's fun to dress up and act the part. I think it's too easy for my family to act like other people, we might need some mental evaluation!!!

Long 2 weeks!!!

It's been a pretty long 2 weeks. My mom had her knee replaced 2 weeks ago and I have spent a lot of time taking care of her and trying to make my dad's life easier when he gets home from work. This was a hard surgery for my mom. Her knee was a lot more damaged than the doctor even thought. We've had a hard time keeping her pain level within a comfortable range and it's hard to see my mom is such pain. I will get back to blogging once I have caught up on my family things and when my mom is doing better. It's a labor of love. Tune in later :)

Happy birthday Maddison!!!

Yea, I'm almost a week late, but guess what? SHE'S STILL 12!!!!! haha!!! That's right, my baby girl turned 12 last week. It's so fun!!! She's so responsible and mature. She had a situation the day before her birthday that she stood up to some friends and did what was RIGHT even though it wasn't the popular thing to do. We are so proud of her. She proved how strong she can be when faced with a dangerous and uncomfortable situation. To say we showered her with praise is an understatement!!!

I found some pictures that I hadn't scanned yet from when Maddison was younger. I had to put them on here. She is such a sweetheart!!! We love her so much.




To celebrate her birthday, she invited some friends to go to Anti-Gravity Arena for a couple of hours. It's a really fun place with wall to wall trampolines and inflatables.

Then we went back to our house for cake and ice cream!!! Of all the cakes she knew that Randy would make for her, she simply wanted a big heart and the number 12 with blue and purple frosting!!! So, that's what she got!!!

It was a great party and a great birthday!!!

She gets to go to the weekly Young Women activity tonight for the first time and I am so excited for her!!! She is becoming such a beautiful young woman and we couldn't be more happy!!!
