I call bull sh%$!!!!

To the person that says, "it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all".... I think you're a moron. What the hell kind of saying is that? In my situation, this is NOT the case. To me, it's painful because of the love I have felt. We will figure this all out. We always do.

I stumbled on your blog, and felt compelled to respond to this entry.

Though I'd like to argue the value of loving and losing, I definitely have felt similarly, granted every situation is different.

I deductively assume you are trying to adopt that little boy on the post below (That's as far as I read).

I wish you and your family the best, and you will be in my prayers.

"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith, of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire, may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."

Peter 1:6-7

There is no way I will do foster care in Washington County, based on your experiance alone. I'm so so sorry, sweet Hopie. His birth parents are despicable people. Who on earth would place a baby with parents like that? Even if they showed improvement, the fact that they just gave their other kids away like freecycle. Not cool at all.

Hopie,

I am so sorry, losing a child is the worst thing in the world - although our circumstances are different - the pain is very similar. I will keep you and your family in our prayers. Love ya - Rachel
